What you choose to do next is entirely up to you.

You may choose to:

  • Report to law enforcement

  • Seek a protective order

  • Document what happened privately

  • Tell a trusted person

  • Do nothing right now

All of these choices are valid.

  • What reporting looks like

  • What evidence collection involves (including rape kits)

  • Your rights as a survivor
